ABOUT ME 

 

I'm an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

My research and teaching focuses on criminology, social stratification,  & religion (more here). I also write on science and religion.

My work has been published in Journal of Quantitative Criminology, Deviant Behavior, Social Problems, Journal of Drug Issues, Ethnic and Racial Studies, Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion, Sociological ForumThe Sociological Quarterly, and others.

I also contributed to the design of teaching resources for ASA TRAILS (link) and the University of Notre Dame's Global Religion Research Agenda (link).
